The document styles available are summarised below.

For HTML output, the general styles are all the same. For PostScript output, they typically differ as follows:
- document - single-sided, busy cover page, busy headers/footers, table of contents
- manual - double-sided, simple cover page, simple header/footers, table of contents
- paper - single-sided, no cover page (just a centered title), simple header/footers, no table of contents.
