czp (Programmer's) Keyboard
Czech Programmer's Layout for the Text Console and X Window System
Copyright (c) 1998 Pavel Makovec (pavelm@debian.cz)
No one has implemented this keyboard for Linux yet.
This keyboard is based on the U.S. keyboard layout. Thus, it has
the QWERTY layout and one can take advantage of all Czech,
Slovak, German, and Hungarian diacritics from the ISO 8859-2 codepage
without any AltGr sequence assignment of the A through Z keys.
Czech characters—including all the dead keys—can be accessed via
AltGr and AltGr-Shift at their cz or cz1 keyboard locations (AltGr-8
generates á, e.g.). Characters that would otherwise be duplicated
at a given key (',', e.g.) are the exeptions. In this case, another
frequently used character has been assigned there (x, e.g.).
This keyboard layout is ideal for all people who need to write primarily in
English with the possibility to generate all the other Czech, Slovak, German,
and Hungarian characters without installing and switching the other layouts.
