Czech Keyboard Standards

The following Czech keyboard standards are intended to unify the various keyboard mappings for the distribution in free operating systems, such as Linux. As there are no government standards per se (there is only an old typewriter standard and some vague recommendations for the computer keyboards), they follow the de facto (i.e. industry) standards. These keyboard layouts should be implemented for the text console, the X Window System, and any other environment that uses a separate keyboard driver, such as Emacs.
