Ok, I got a question.
I can't seem to get smbmount to work properly.
It works if I specify the netbios name of the computer to connect to myself,
but from most computers on the lan I only know the normal name, and I
thought
my computer would be able to resolve the netbios name from the computer name
itself,
but it doesn't do that.
It seems smbmount is not the only function with this problem,
because ping can't resolve names, and only understands ip-adresses too.
I'm running debian 2.0.36.
Anyone have any suggestions what I should try?
Thanks
Ezram
