Video, jadro, ntfs

Zdravim vsechny, mam hned tri otazky.Linux nepouzivam dlouho,tak me
omluvte,jestli zni vam vyzni hloupe:).Mam Etch.

1) Jak upgraduju jadro?A vyplati se to?Bude pak system treba rychlejsi?Mam
2.6.18-6-486.

2) Jak zapisovat na ntfs?Vycetl jsem,ze musim pouzivat ntfs-3g,ale ten semi
nepodarilo naistalovat,ac vsechny zavislosti byly splene (aspon si na nic
nestezoval:)).Tak sem si rikal,jestli to neni kvuli staremu jadru?Ntfs-3g
jsem stahoval z backports pro etch.

3) Nejde mi video pres Xv. Chvili to splapalo,ale pak zmizel obraz a zvuk
jede dal. Nevite,kde by mohla byt chyba?Xv mi nejdriv nejelo vubec,musel sem
nahrat nejnovejsi ovladace ke graficke (ATI x1600).Prikladam svuj
xorg.conf,chtel
bych vedet,jestli tam nemam neco spatne nebo neco nechybi.A kdyz uz sem
zminil tu grafickou..mate ji nekdo?Vyplati se rozbehat Xgl (popr.
jak:))?Protoze rychlost systemu ted neni nijak zavratna (mam Athlon XP
1800+),tak graficka by tomu mohla pomoct,ne?

Este k tomu videu...rozchodili jste nekdo na ATI program tvtime?Pri spusteni
mi to pise:
