Linux Debugger/Monitor

I'm looking for a debug tool for Linux (i386). I'm writing driver
software
for a ISA card with memory and registers mapped into the memory space
of the
PC. The debug tool must be able to access any physical memory address,
just
like the MS-DOS tool 'debug'.

Where can I find something like this?
